We are starting phase one of the PTA funded school-wide art project in April! This is a multi-year project which recreates the scenery found in the Lower Columbia River Gorge. It will span the length of the school building hallways. Our class will be contributing the birds of prey and salmon to this school-wide project. We are eager to start, but we need some artistic volunteers to help make this project go as smoothly as possible! :)
In order to complete phase one, we need at least two adult volunteers to help our classroom. Volunteer responsibilities and commitments include:
Friday, April 9th: attend an informational and training meeting from 10:30 – 12:30 am
Week of April 19th - 22nd: contribute 4 - 6 hours in the classroom assisting with technique and materials
*Volunteers may be needed for additional times not listed above.
